With Us!
The old time radio show is the 3rd event in a series to promote the great venue that is Club 120. We call the series Living Library. This season, the library section we’re borrowing from is Mystery, and local author Kate Gingold who wrote Agatha Annotated, an Agatha Christie glossary, is our special guest.
Why Mystery? Well, the Oak Crest Residence got its start in 1904. Do you know who else got his start in 1904? None other than Agatha Christie’s most popular detective, Hercule Poirot! So what a perfect choice of theme to begin the Living Library program.

2 30-minute radio dramas, performed back to back:

Personal Call
A man gets a phone call from his dead wife? Or is it?
Agatha’s first radio play for the BBC.

The Case of the Careless Victim
Apartment hunting on his first visit to the states, Hercule Poirot instead finds not one but two dead bodies!
The first radio show of Poirot exclusively for an American audience.
The performance will be held in George’s Stage, one of the rooms of Club 120. Club 120 is in the lower level of Oak Crest Residence, 204 S Route 31, in Elgin, IL. (MAP). If you’d like to see more about Club 120, including renting it out for your own meeting and parties, click here.
