SPECIAL EVENT THIS FRIDAY!

Anniversary Celebration: Murder Mystery Dinner!

We’re saving the biggest and best of our Living Library events for last! Enjoy a wonderful 4 course meal prepared by our Chef while discussing clues to find out the most important thing in any mystery: who dunnit?!

Not only is it the finale to our first Living Library Series; it’s the 25th anniversary of The Atrium, the Independent Living Apartments that are just above Club 120. So it’s going to be a very special evening.

Sometime during the evening’s festivities, a guest will be murdered, and you’ll have to figure out who has done the dastardly deed. After all, it was someone in the room, and if you don’t figure out who-dunnit, the cops might think it was you! Don’t worry; we understand one of the guests is a detective, so help is close at hand.

The Setting: The Club 120 Cellar Pub, a jazz-era banquet hall of the 1920s.

YES, wear your finest flapper dresses and zoot suits for the occasion, or at least a dress or jacket and tie; dress nicely for dinner.

Meet our guest of honor, celebrated and internationally renowned spiritual medium Miss Vivian Starling.

Celebratory Toast
4 Course Meal

Afterglow drink (meet the cast)

Thursday, October 30 starting at 6:00pm

Join us for a fun evening of dinner theatre.

Local old-time radio troupe The Weeping Willow Players perform 2 back-to-back shows from the days of yesteryear.

First, an intense episode from a rather obscure radio program called The Haunting Hour.

In “The Thought”, a mindreader during his nightclub act gets a very real thought from a member of his audience, who’s plotting a murder!

Then, something in a lighter vein: we perform an episode from America’s favorite radio family, The Adventures of Ozzie & Harriet.

Ozzie, Harriet, and their neighbor Thornhill investigate the story behind the old McAdams residence, in “Haunted House!”

We perform for you in the beautiful Cellar Pub while you dine from a scrumptuous buffet created by our own Chef Marcel!

You’re welcome to BYOB

The dinner and show is a fundraising event for Oak Crest Residence. Oak Crest continues to care for those who make Oak Crest their home but have outlived their funds. Your donation (minimum is $45 for each guest, but please consider more) helps in their mission. And as a thank you, you get an evening of fun entertainment and delicious food!

RSVP with Susan at 847-742-2255 or Susan@oakcrestatrium.org.
